Profile Photos?

My question regarded the tranfer and/or input of photos is a Yahoo profile. This is the answer I recieved: You cannot transfer them to Yahoo. I am quite disturbed that your profiles cannot include photo, both from my standpoint, and from the standpoint of viewing the profiles of potential contact. To get a foto avatar go to your profile, click "edit my info", set up a 360掳 page, load up a pic (it has to be a .jpg, preferrably 48x48 pixels), mark "set as primary", save it and then your pic will appear in your avatar box. About additional fotos on your profile: Yahoo! bought flickr in 2005 and since it doesn't make much sense to keep 2 similar services running, they decided to shut down Yahoo! photos in September and hang onto flickr. In the meantime no registrations for new Photos accounts are accepted, thus disabling display of fotos other than your foto avatar on your 360掳 page. What you can do though is open an account with another free foto hoster and post a link to your pics on your 360掳 page.

Here are the alternatives. Decide for yourself which is best. About "picasa" - it's a web album a n d a free software which lets you edit and organize the pics on your computer, there's a foto chat and much more...

I've noticed that....

I think that since they've left our photo albums haywire, the profile picture uploading thing has been disabled. Just link the picture you've got from some other profile or a web photo hosting site such as flickr (which you'll need anyway if you've got pictures in your album to move before September of this year).
