In Test Drive Unlimited, when I try to change profile, once it has loaded it only has two of the sam

I have a PC and the game Test Drive Unlimited.

I have two profiles on the game, just to make it easier I will pretend the current profile is, 'A' and the other profile is 'B'

My friend is using profile A and he leaves decide I want to swap onto my profile B, so I do. When it has loaded it still says A at the top so I presume that the profile hasn't been sawped yet. So I go into profiles just to find that there are two profiles called B, both which are indentical including what is saved on them, so it isn't just a confustion of names, it is a confusion of an account. So I go into My Documents and then the Test Drive Unlimited folder and see that there are both the A profile and a B profile, but still no joy. In the 'ProfileList.dat' file, everything seems to be correct, but still no.

Can anyone help me succesfully get the game working with the two profiles.

Bad News!

It's not just fouling up because you have two profiles - see the link below. Plenty of players are waiting for a patch from Atari but meanwhile someone appears to have something on offer to limit the problem.

Just in case it is multiple profiles which is causing the problem... Why not try fooling TDU by having a single profile and overlaying it with either A or B as required? When play is over, save the current player profile back over the appropriate player...
