Profile Pic!!!?

All I want to do is add a Profile Pic!! I don't want to share pics, I don't want to manage my online album, I don't want to add friends to view my pics...all I want is a Profile Pic!!! I have a college degree but can't figure out how to post a profile pic...damn shame!! I go to my acct., choose edit, chose edit picture, browse, choose the pic I want as my profile pic, click 'Upload' and I get re-directed to Yahoo photos with every option in the world except upload profile pic. Its really irritating and more hassle than its worth. Yahoo, please simplify this ****. If anyone is reading this and had the same problem or just knows what the hell I am doing wrong, please offer assistance. I would greatly appreciate it. black_n_easy@yahoo.com

Go to "my account"

Where it says Public Profile for %26gt;%26gt;%26gt;your name%26lt;%26lt;%26lt;

Yahoo ID

select "edit"

This takes you to another screen/window

you will see clickable choices like these below

home / view my profiles / edit profiles information / Edit Picture / edit voice

Select edit picture

select your picture ( in jpeg format only )

select upload

And you should be able to see your chosen picture

in my experience...after you have a yahoo photos.then you can download it to the profile...that not necesarely means that you have to share photos...good luck
go to your account and edit that's where you can change any thing you want even your pic
I have exactly the same problem and I spent fruitless hours trying to solve the matter, but to no avail.

Months ago it was the easiest thing in the world, now it's practically impossible to upload a photo to your profile.

I have a hunch this is some kind of Yahoo blackmail for those that don't want to download the Download Tool, anyway, I'd like to meet personally the genius who did this...
Hi, avator is for us to create a catoon image and i create my avatar image by going to visit http://avatar.yahoo.com .Make my avatar there and save it. I also bring the icon of avatar on my yahoo toolbar. To do so cilck the pencil, select personal options, select add edit button and check the box of avatar and then click finished. It will bring the icon of avatar on ur yahoo toolbar which can be used by u anytime as per ur convenience.

If you want to want to get a real picture/photo to appear as your profile, you have to create an account in yahoo!360 and then upload your picture(JPEG format) maximum 3 pictures into your personal profile in yahoo!360. Then go to My Q%26amp;A page and

edit your Info and select your yahoo!360 picture as your picture.

Incase you need step by step guide, here is how you can do it

-on the My Q%26amp;A page, click on the [Edit My Info]

-on the PICTURE section, click on the [Get my Yahoo!360 account now]

-yahoo!360 home page will appear, on the right side, click on [Get Started]

-confirm your identity and click [Continue]

-Click [Start My Page]

-Create a nick name and click on the [Continue]

-select anyone or simply click on the [Continue] to skip

-Enter any information you want or simply cliick on the [Finish] to skip

-Now your yahoo!360 page is created and you can see your name on the left. Click on the [Edit Personal Photos]

-click on the [Browse...]

-Choose the picture in your computer you want to upload.Take note: Only JPEG picture

-make sure the directories is appeared on the context box before you click on the [Save] at the bottom

-It will take little while to upload your picture. Just wait.

-Your yahoo!360 page will appear again, click on the [Edit Personal Photos]

-you will see your uploaded picture, click on the [O Set as Primary]

-At the bottom right, click on the [Save]

Now it is done on Yahoo!360. You have to activate your yahoo!360 as your picture in your personal profile in yahoo!answer. The steps below is similiar as to activate your avatar picture

-go to Yahoo!Answer page

-click on your name

-you will come to My Q%26amp;A page

-click on the [Edit My Info], located near to the little blue box

-on the PICTURE section,you should able to see your uploaded picture

-select [Use my yahoo!360 picture]

-At the bottom of the page click on the [Preview]

-At the bottom of the preview page, click on the [OK]

-It is done. Congrad!
