How come my 360 profile that i created will not stay put?

my profile goes back to the original profile created when i first signed up with yahoo years ago... i have checked all my settings on the 360 and i can not find anything different. my profile has a link to the 360 but i want people to click my name and profile to see the 360 profile not the original... help me someone

This may be a yahoo Glitch.Send in feed back from your 360.

And there are things changing our settings or messing up our settings.

Yahoo is try to update on their services to be able to handle the new web sites , computers and vista ,etc., So they ask us to be patient and they are trying to get things fixed

Normally when I would click "View Profile" from within Messenger, The browser would open and display the profile. Now, when I click "View Profile" nothing happens, Now I am unable to view profiles. Also, I used to be able to click on the 360 icon on the top of messenger and my 360 would open, Now, Nothing ... Please HELP!!

try downloading the program again. when you successfully download it, it will reveal all your information

.you need to associate messenger to your browser ... IE6 and IE7 are slightly different so do this ...open control panel / network and internet connections / internet options icon / programs tab ... click the reset websettings button then check make IE my default browser ... if you don't see a reset websettings button you have IE7 ... click Make Default on the programs tab and then go to advanced tab and click the reset button

I want to keep a profile name from 1 accnt, but transf it to another Y accnt?

I have two Yahoo email accounts. #1 is my main accnt (yahoo mail plus), and #2 (yahoo mail) was used for friends. I want only #1 email account, so I want to delete my #2 email account. (I orginally used a stupid name as the default name on that account, and can't change it..so I want to delete the email accnt). BUT I like my PROFILE" ID name on #2 email account, and I WANT to KEEP THAT PROFILE NAME. How can I transfer #2 "PROFILE" NAME over to my #1 Yahoo ID account, without deleting the profile name and waiting 90 days? Sorry you cannot transfer names from one account to another and you cannot combine accounts. Yahoo doesnt offer that option yet.

no the systems messed up at the moment so it doesnt increaseyour profile views. ermm... NO tehres not a hidden code- but you could just keep clicking your link and visiting on your page unsigned in.... if you REALLY want to do that..erm... have fun

I use different profile names in messenger when I talk to different people, but if I initiate the conversation then it always shows up as my main profile that is sending the message, rather than one of the additional profiles i have created under my main, or default, profile. If they start by instant messaging one of my other profiles, then it appears as if that profile is answering them back.

How do you get a profile name/alternate address to come up when posting to a group?

When I initially joined yahoo groups, I joined using my yahoo ID. After reading many of their postings, I was finally ready to post, but I didn't want to use my original address. I created a profile name, signed in under it, but no matter how I try to fix it, the original ID address always comes up when I post and the profile name is no where to be found. Any suggestions? Isn't that why people create profiles? Figured if I dropped my original membership w/ the group, it would automatically come up on my posts using my profile. Didn't. Currently I am still receiving mail from the group through my profile name, but am unable to post at all now. When I attempt to change the email address from the original to the profile, it tells me the address is in an invalid format. It tells me to enter an email address not associated w/ an existing account or to activate yahoo mail for this new account. Confused? Me too.

Reclaim lost Yahoo Public Profile?

I set up another Public Profile for Yahoo Groups, but after creating the ID it wouldn't recognize it under my account. How do I reclaim it as a public profile under my Yahoo ID?

(Twice I created a new public profile identify, but both times it wasn't connected to my ID, and could no longer be created again because the profile name was then already "in use". Arghhhh! Something seems defective with Yahoo's profile-building system.)

are you making sure to create the profiles(alias) by first going to your main id account, then click create/or edit profiles? also, you only can have a certain number of them,,,,, im thinking its 7 including your main default id,,,,,,,you might have to delete one,, other then that, maybe they had a glitch , if you are still having problems, then contact them,,, they may can remove the name you used, so that you can use it again,,,,
